CSL A-Series explained III: Matchmaking
| |||
![]() You already know the structure of the A-Series and what happens when you win or lose. Today you will get to know how to find your opponents. The third part of our A-Series preview is addressing the matchmaking. No more complex EIC, AC, free challenge clutter. We took all pros of existing matchmaking tools and merged them to one matchmaking, the A-Series one!
You heard right, there will only be one matchmaking tool in our A-Series. It is based on settled appointments, which can be chosen freely and independently for every game and division. This will focus the activity to fix dates. There will still be enough dates for very active participants depending on the division's size, though.
There won't be no more forced date every week, where you have to play like in the old Amateur Series. If you want to play, all you have to do is sign up for an available date in your division 15 minutes before the date is due (of course, you can also sign off 15 minutes prior). Then the matches for all participants are generated and you can get started. | |||
