How does the new Quick Tourneys work?
On this page we show you how to handle the new tournament system as a player and as an admin. If you have any further questions let us know, so we can update the FAQ. For feedback you can use our new Quick Tourney forum. This FAQ will be updated regularly, so visit this page in future if you want to know more.
Signup
Quick Tourneys have three phases and two of them belong to the signup process. You can see this phases on the right side. This view also depends on your personal status in the tourney.

1st signup
During the signup phase, you can sign up by clicking the "Sign up" button. This will show other players that you are interested in playing this tourney. There is also a link to your tourney in the userbar after signing up, so you can easily find your way back to the tourney.
Check-In
2nd Check-In
Similar to airport a checki-in you have to confirm your attendance. Click on "Check-In" if you are signed up and be ready for this tourney. The button appears as soon as the check-in phase starts. Only players who are checked in will be considered for the bracket.

After you checked in, the admin will start the tourney by giving you an initial seed. When the tourney starts you will be forwarded to the bracket.
Play a Quick Tourney
When you are playing a tourney, you will get all the information directly in the bracket and enter the result of your pairings here too.

Pairing statuses
The status of every pairing is represented by a color which will show you what you have to do next.

- In this pairing one player is missing
- Pairing is ready to be played
- A veto has been put
- Pairing played / no contestants

Pairing-Window
In the pairing window you can always see and manage your current pairing. In a video to be released soon we will show you how to manage your participation in a Quick Tourney.

Vetos
A veto can be put on a pairing if your opponent has entered a wrong result or you need help by an admin. Therefore you click on the "Stop" sign. An admin has to clear this case now to remove the veto status. While you wait for an admin you can always clear the veto yourself: Both contestants always can report the match as a loss for themselves to clear the case.
